Platinum Award to Ozsar Star of Export

Ozsar Textile received a platinum award for its success in exports at the award ceremony for those who add value to exports in 2021, organized by the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters’ Association (İHKİB). Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) President Mustafa Gültepe, İTHİB President Ahmet Öksüz and award-winning company officials attended the award ceremony.

We can be the world leader

Stating that Turkey has become the world’s 5th largest textile producer and exporter, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank said ,” The sector, which people say there is no future in this business, which they do not like at the time, today produces all over the world with your superior efforts. Recently, I participated in the opening of many investments in the textile sector, from huge production facilities to logistics centers. 5th place in the world is of course an important success, but we have the capabilities to take it much further. How do we become number one? I hope we can see those successes in this hall, we will be able to play for the world leadership as soon as possible, I have no doubts about it.”

Underlining that the textile industry no longer produces as a subcontractor of global brands, Minister Varank said, “With an approach centered on R&D, design and innovation, quality products that can compete fiercely in global markets are now produced in our country. Exports exceeding 30 billion dollars in all sub-groups of textile, ready-made clothing and apparel is the biggest proof of this situation.”

We increase our exports with investments

Özsar Tekstil CEO Ali Yasin Sartık, who received the Platinum Award from Minister Mustafa Varank and İTHİB President Ahmet Öksüz, for his successful contributions to exports, said, “No success is a coincidence. We believe in this and always strive to achieve it. We are doubling our production with an investment of 10 million Euros in the last year. We renewed our machine park. Thanks to the investments we made to increase our production quality, we key performance measurement to increase our exports to 30 countries and enter new markets in the coming period. We analyze these markets. We make a point of participating in quality exhibitions that will improve our vision. Negative developments around the world also change the trade balance. By turning this into an advantage, we will continue to contribute to Turkey’s becoming the world’s production base with investments and conscious steps.”
